Post - Consumer Waste
Discover The Sustainable Benefits Behind Polypropylene Great Performances.
• A global recognition of the environmental properties of polypropylene is ascertained.
• The nature of hydrocarbon polymer compound and low melting point make it energy saving and free of toxic.
• The hydrophobic quality can be taken advantage to enhance long-lasting repellency.
Objective
The conversion to a certified and traceable recycled Olefin is a new venture worth our efforts and may distinguish its superiority over popular recycled polyester.
The Difficulties to Recycle and Reproduce Olefin
• Source of Waste Polypropylene
Recycled PET is substantially sourced through well established bottle collection and global transportation of bottle bricks, however, there are not enough sources for other synthetic fibers, such as polyamide or polypropylene, to reclaim from post consumer waste. The development
of single material recycling must be built for respective commercial material and demand of polypropylene is emerging after polyamide (nylon).
• Manufacturing Hardship
The manufacturing process & scope of recycling PET continues elevating and streamlining as well as capacity growing over the past two decades. In addition to identify a substantial and stable source of waste polypropylene, a new production system to clean, filter, and purify before granulate textile grade rPP pellets and make it eligible for subsequent yarn extrusion needs to be set up.
